Attention College Students: Applications are Open for the Virtual Student Federal Service Program
Attention all U.S. citizen college students: the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) is still accepting applications for the Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) program until July 31, 2020!
The VSFS program is an eight-month remote internship program for U.S. citizen students, college-level and above, who are seeking to make a difference in the work of the U.S. government. The program offers students the opportunity to advance the work of government on various fronts, including but not limited to developing virtual programs, data analysis, and app building.
Students can #ApplyInJuly for up to three projects from more than 40 federal agencies. If selected for a project of their choice, eInterns will report to their mentors at the Department of State and other government agencies in the U.S. and around the world by email, phone, or video chat. Selected eInterns will be notified in August and will work on their projects for ten hours each week from September through May.
