The COVID-19 pandemic forced many to rely on technology to work, learn, and stay connected. As a result, the U.S.population has become more vulnerable to cyberattacks than ever before.
Researchers at USF surveyed over 3,000 Floridians throughout 2020 to analyze the relationship between the impacts of the pandemic and online cybercrime. We spoke with Dr. George Burruss, one of the lead researchers, about the results of the survey.
